Traverse City Farmer's market

I bought fresh flowers the day before the wedding. They were the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. You have to be very open minded to do it this way and plan ahead to make sure you have a contact person who has the flowers you are looking for. I went to the market the previous summer and wrote down names and numbers of vendors and later contacted them to see what they would have available for my time frame. I also put my bouquets together. The work is worth the money you save. We ended up buying 15 full peony arrangements for $120. They covered all boutonnières, bride and 5 bridesmaid bouquets, small MOB bouquets, 2 flower girl bouquets and about 10 centerpieces. I was quoted over $500 for by a local florist just for the wedding party.
