Artspace is a thriving visual art center housed in an historic building in the downtown Raleigh City Market area. Artspace offers an interesting and unique space for receptions, seated dinners, meetings, and other events. Guests at Artspace are surrounded by exhibitions and artists' studios, full of interesting and beautiful artwork. Artspace houses 28 artist studios, three exhibition galleries, and a three-story lobby with a winding staircase. For your privacy and pleasure, Artspace allows only one event at a time in this unique 30,000 square foot building built in 1911 as Raleigh's city livery. Since 1986 Artspace has inspired more than 2 million visitors and served as the heart of Raleigh's visual art community.
